Your health insurance pays the fee!
Some of our courses are certified by the Central Prevention Testing Center (ZPP). This means that your health insurance company pays up to 100% of the course fee two times a year. The exact amount of the grant depends on the health insurance company. Therefore, find out more from your health insurance company in advance.
In order to receive the subsidy you have to take part in the class with the health insurance ticket (KK-Ticket). The certified class series consist of 10 appointments. You register automatically for 10 appointments, of which you have to attend at least 8 classes within 10 weeks in order to receive the health insurance grant. You can miss, rebook or participate online in up to two appointments, this gives you some flexibility. At the end you will receive a certificate of your participation from us, with which you will then receive the reimbursement from your health insurance company.
how it's done:
1. Book a spot in your desired class with the health insurance ticket.
2. Visit at least 8 out of 10 classes within 10 weeks.
3. Let us know at the end to get the certificate of participation.
4. Submit the certificate of participation to your health insurance company and receive a refund.

FAQ
- Can I mix different courses or do I always have to take the same series of courses?
-
8 out of 10 appointments must always take place in the same course series. You can also make up to two appointments in other certified course series or participate online. Please note the cancellation deadlines for rebooking.
- I can't make it to an appointment. How can I cancel/rebook the course?
-
We urge you to cancel your spot if you cannot attend.
To do this, log into your account and select the date you would like to cancel.
If you cancel in good time (at least 12 hours in advance), a credit for rebooking will be credited to your account.
However, we ask you to ALSO cancel your place if it is at short notice. Your credit will not be refunded, but this may allow someone on the waiting list to take your place. - How and when do I receive the certificate of participation?
-
At the end of the course series, or as soon as you have made 8 appointments, you can write us an email to krankenkasse@the-bodyworkers.de and ask for the certificate to be sent to you.
- How long does a course series last?
-
Each course series lasts 10 weeks. When you make your first booking, 10 consecutive appointments will be booked for you.
You must attend at least 8 appointments to receive reimbursement from your health insurance company.
Please note the cancellation policy. - I am ill. Can I make up the courses later or extend the course period with a medical certificate?
-
Unfortunately not. For any kind of cancellation, the health insurance companies allow two appointments that you can miss.
If you cancel in good time, WE do allow the appointments to be made up after the end of the course series, but only the 10-week course period counts for the health insurance company.
If you manage fewer than 8 appointments in 10 weeks, you have unfortunately not met the requirements for a refund.
We cannot make an exception here, otherwise we risk losing our certification. - How often can I take a health insurance course?
-
As a rule, health insurance companies subsidize two series of courses per year.
That is 20 sessions at the expense of the health insurance company. - How much does the health insurance company reimburse?
-
This varies from health insurance company to health insurance company.
Please check with YOUR health insurance company in advance how much you will be reimbursed.
Some companies cover 100%, others only €75. Only your health insurance company can answer that for you.
