Pilates at The Bodyworkers – holistic and effective

Immerse yourself in a Pilates class that combines classical body training with a modern focus on health, posture, and body awareness. This workout emphasizes consciously executed, slow and controlled movements that strengthen, stretch, and mobilize your deep core muscles – without jumping, yet with a noticeable effect on your entire body. The class is designed to train strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination, and relaxation in a harmonious flow. Whether you already have experience or are completely new to Pilates, the exercises are suitable for all fitness levels, as modifications are always offered.

The atmosphere is motivating and supportive – a balance of physical challenge, joint-friendly movement, and a relaxed sense of community. The class brings body and mind into harmony, improves your posture, and helps you feel lighter, more relaxed, and stronger not only during the workout, but long after it ends.

We offer a wide range of weekly Pilates classes that are certified by the Central Association for Prevention (ZPP). This means that all of our Pilates classes are officially recognized as preventive health programs. Many health insurance providers reimburse up to 100% of the course fee, allowing you to receive a full or partial refund once you have successfully completed the course.

Our Pilates classes vary in focus depending on the schedule and the instructor – sometimes more strengthening and intense, sometimes calmer and more relaxing. This allows you to choose the class that best suits your energy level and training goals. If you’re unsure which class is right for you, just ask us – we’re happy to advise you personally.

 

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Water (no glass bottles!)
  • Towel
  • This workout takes place barefoot

For online participation:
Additional equipment is often used. If you want to prepare for it, here's a list:

  • 1 kg & 2 kg dumbbells (Alternatively: Full water bottles)
  • Mini bands (Alternatively: Stretchy leggings or tights)
  • Pilates ball (Alternatively: Balloon and firm pillow)

However, the online-class also works without equipment.



SUITABLE FOR:

Everyone! No previous experience is required.
Pregnant? Then we recommend our Mama Fitness classes – this one is only partially suitable. The class format doesn’t include targeted guidance. Please only join if you have experience and know how to safely modify the exercises for yourself.

INTENSITY:

The class has moderate intensity and is suitable for beginners. More intense exercises alternate with gentle mobilization. After the class you will feel light and relaxed. We are happy to give you alternative exercises at any time, if needed. Let your trainer know in advance if you have special needs, restrictions or injuries.

This class is supported by your health insurance! Certified by the Central Prevention Checkpoint (Zentrale Prüfstelle Prävention – ZPP), your health insurance can cover up to 100% of the course fee. Twice a year, a full 10-session course series may be subsidized.
